Coming soon – online workshops through Library Juice Academy

We are planning to start offering online workshops for professional development soon, as “Library Juice Academy.” The workshops will be about four weeks in length, with some shorter ones available, too. Pricing will be competitive with comparable programs, but some of the topics will be a little different, as you might expect from us.

We could use some help getting started, and we are looking for people to work with. We would like to work with a librarian who has done coursework in instructional design, preferably one who has earned a degree in that subject. We are planning to use the Moodle platform for course delivery.

Of course, we also need instructors to teach the courses. For this, we are looking for librarians and library science faculty with special knowledge to impart that librarians will find useful professionally. We have some courses in the planning stages and would like ideas for more.

If this is inspiring to you of if you have ideas for us, please contact me – rory at libraryjuicepress.com.
